Scott R. Elkins
Scott R. Elkins is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Zeus Fire and Security, one of the nation’s leading technology-enabled providers of fire protection, security, monitoring, and life safety solutions. As the company’s Chief Executive Officer from its launch in 2022, Scott led Zeus through a period of extraordinary growth, building one of the largest and fastest-growing platforms in the industry through strategic acquisitions, operational excellence, and a people-first culture. As Executive Chairman, he focuses on long-term strategy, mergers and acquisitions, industry partnerships, and value creation while serving on the company’s Board of Directors.
A recognized leader in the electronic security and life safety industry, Scott has spent nearly four decades helping shape the evolution of security services across North America. Throughout his career, he has championed innovative business models and the integration of emerging technologies into practical, scalable solutions that create lasting value for customers, employees, and investors.
Scott currently serves on the Boards of Directors of The Monitoring Association (TMA) and the Electronic Security Association (ESA). He also serves on the NetOne Board of Directors, where he has been a Board member for more than 25 years, including 20 years as Chairman. During his tenure as Chairman, his steady leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment helped guide the organization through decades of growth and industry change. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors of The Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia. In addition, he co-founded Catavault and previously served on its Advisory Board.
An innovator as well as an executive, Scott is the principal inventor of U.S. Patent No. 7,155,739, covering a method and system for the secure registration, storage, and management of personal authentication credentials over a network.
In recognition of his entrepreneurial leadership, Scott was named the 2025 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® Greater Philadelphia Award, honoring his success in building Zeus Fire and Security into one of the industry’s premier high-growth platform companies.

Scott earned a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Donna, reside in Wayne, Pennsylvania
