Matt Vellek is President of SEi, a leading Midwest provider of security, fire, and life safety solutions, where he leads the company's operations, strategic growth, and leadership development. With more than 20 years of experience in the security and life safety industry, Matt has built his career by driving operational excellence, executing disciplined growth strategies, and developing high-performing teams.

Matt joined Security Equipment Inc. (SEi) more than a decade ago and has advanced through multiple leadership roles before being named President. During his tenure, he has helped transform SEi into one of the Midwest's premier commercial security and fire integrators, leading the organization through significant growth while strengthening its operational foundation for long-term success. Following SEi's partnership with Zeus Fire & Security, Matt continues to lead the company while supporting regional expansion and strategic growth initiatives across the Midwest.

As the Integrator within SEi's Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®), Matt works closely with the leadership team to translate long-term vision into measurable priorities and operational execution. His leadership focuses on aligning strategy with accountability, streamlining processes to support scalable growth, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration, and ensuring every customer experience reflects SEi's commitment to quality, innovation, and reliability.

Matt believes that lasting success is achieved when visionary thinking is paired with disciplined execution. His leadership philosophy centers on empowering people, strengthening culture, and continuously improving the systems that enable teams to deliver exceptional service while protecting people, property, and profits.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University and resides in Omaha, Nebraska, with his wife and three sons.
